BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS
OUR PROCESS
We were honored to work alongside the Ambassador Animal Clinic from 2019- early 2021, which sits beside the State Farm Corporate Offices in Bloomington-Normal. The Clinic serves the families that work for State Farm, as well as animals in the general community. They found us via a mailer 323 Design Team sent out to every medical clinic in the area – they tucked it away for future use!
2019 came and they reached out to us for a remodeling job. We began in the design phase – mapping out their clinic and developing a plan going forward. This process lasted almost a full year – working with cost, estimates, mapping out the office so they could keep working while we were remodeling, and drafting different designs. Because it was important to keep the Clinic open, we developed a two-phase construction plan – Phase 1 included two of their exam rooms, and Phase 2 included the third.
We started Phase 1 in early September, and Phase 2 in late September. Our remodeling included installing new textured dry-wall, painting, installing new doors, and then designing and building new countertops, cabinets, a new receptionist desk, and new work stations all with our CNC router technology. We always enjoy teaming up with other local businesses – Carpet Weaver’s put in new tile flooring and Gutwein’s provided the doors and new hardware.
The entire process went very smoothly with just some minor challenges we solved along the way, like the size of the exam rooms for example. We needed to design cabinets with plenty of storage inside rooms that were fairly small. We decided to design a cabinet door under the sink that tipped out for a garbage can, as well as other fun solutions.
We were glad to give the Ambassador Animal Clinic a new look going forward, as they continue to treat and care for animals in our local community!
